After tons of color practice I decided to finally go back to drawing what I love drawing… SEXY CHICKS IN WEIRD OUTFITS HAHAHAHAHAHA Hopefully my colors have improved… Color coordination was a pain as usual… But I’m actually rather happy with the result Seems like I always finish my picture at around 4am… even if I started early in the day =w= OH WELL

Think it’s been I while since I last concentrated on character design~ Really had fun drawing this one! And so guess what… I made an erotic version of it LOL!!!! Click in if you are over18 =w=+ (Though I don’t think it’s really R18+…)

Hmm… isn’t as erotic as I hoped it would be… you can only faintly see the nipple =3= Feel like drawing ero art at the moment HEHE I actually was gonna add some liquids from her undies to the floor… but because the background is white and you can’t really see so I just gave up =w=

Huh? How are you supposed to see her boobs when there’s another layer of clothing below her bra? DUDE DON’T YOU UNDERSTAND ART????!!! ANYTHING CAN HAPPEN OK??!!! DON’T YOU HAVE ANY IMAGINATION GEEZZZZ LIKE THE LAYER BELOW COULD JUST HAPPEN TO BE TORN AROUND THE BREAST AREA YOU KNOW

Yes I know the BGM doesn’t suit… I have no idea why I was listening to the Silent Hill OST when drawing this picture… orz Well to be honest I’m not very satisfied with how it came out, especially the castle.. Something is wrong about it and I don’t know what.. plus too tired to care anymore *dies

The original concept was the 2 girls surrounded by ruins and looking up into the sky, which consisted of all that you see plus a sorcerer fighting a dragon on the castle.. and no I didn’t end up drawing that HAHA I did draw the ruins but it didn’t turn out well.. so I got rid of it orz

Was in a major artist block when I started this… and now I’m just ultimately sick of this picture XD *wants to move on

I neglected the blog again! D: Here’s a new illustration done for Kiseki magazine‘s editorial page. For some reason, I had this idea that things will be much faster in watercolor, and well.. I don’t know if I was right or wrong. Overall the time spent is probably shorter, but when working with watercolor I ended up having to take a lot of pauses in between to wait for the paint to dry, so actually I did the coloring over a few days. As for inking, it’s definitely faster than in the computer! I tried to do it kazuaki’s way, which I once saw in a tutorial, first sketch on paper, then scan and ink on the computer, then print out and ink it again (actually her steps were more complicated since at the end she inked everything again in the computer ==) I think I’m still most comfortable with hand drawing rather than using the tablet, just have a problem with scanning quality.

I think at the end I’m only 70% satisfied with the coloring.. went way overboard with the colors : P I need to work on positive/negative space and just light/shadow in general.

Getting into watercolors recently because I just got a new set, because it’s really relaxing to do and because.. I can watch anime and draw at the same time XD yay

So I’ve been watching FMA~~~ Watched.. 50 eps in about a week!? O__O So addicted.

I’m still trying to make my art more loose though. Recently I concentrated too much on being neat @_@

On another note, this is something I drew ages & ages ago.. I was trying to make a tiled background LOL! Forgot about it until now XD

Gotta say, I only downloaded this because of Eita and Ueno Juri (whom I both LOVE ♥ ) and I didn’t even know that DBSK’s hero was in it, but anyways, this drama is REALLY GOOD! I’d highly recommend it to anyone who loved Last Friends and Love Shuffle *A*!!! Only up to ep 3 but I’m already hooked~~~

The twitter theme didn’t interest me at first – but twitter is really just a tool for bringing them together. I can see why they used twitter since when you’re online, you can be a different persona. I think it’s like you can express a lot of who you are but at the same time not revealing anything about yourself. (if that makes sense) which leads to the theme of becoming honest and opening up to each other and themselves. Well it’s something that people can relate to I think, when I look at online communities like deviantart or livejournal~

Enough about the serious analysis @___@ What’s really interesting about this drama (LOL) is that while Ueno Juri and Eita have been in HEAPS of dramas/movies together, (Last Friends, Nodame Cantabile, etc) I think this is the first one where they’re actually a PAIRING! bbbb Didn’t think they would be able to pull it off, but I realised from the first ep that I was WRONG! This is the first time that I think Eita can be really manly and cool *A* (since normally I see him playing the ‘good and loyal friend’ role)

Hero/JaeJoong!! I don’t know much about DBSK but LOL I’m really liking him XD He’s soooo cute!

Just want to point out that here Eita is wearing a top similar to one that I have =w=a

Really into KOKIA’s album “Coquillage～The Best Collection II～” and “REAL WORLD”  at the moment… And so felt like drawing something innocent and peaceful to go along with it XD

Have been thinking a lot lately.. and getting sick of it too. I think that’s where a lot of my insomnia comes from.. thinking.. then telling myself that some things won’t change just by thinking.. and it’s pointless to loose sleep over thinking about matters like this.. getting frustrated.. then just angry at myself because I can’t stop thinking to myself to stop thinking… wtf *faints

I wonder if I’m the only person who cries for no reason at night. Not because anything specific happened, instead just from imagining certain situations, whether it be of real life people or just purely imaginative.

Umm I should be writing about this kinda shit on my personal blog and not on the IceCubed blog wtf

Anyways, I think I’m starting to like coloring more and more.

When I was bored yesterday, I made some stamps while watching drama LOL~~

Anyways finally finished adding a background to this girl I drew months ago… Felt like playing around with lots of colors and making the image bright like crazy haha… Seems like my color use has really changed… what happened to all my dark art?!

If there were any people analyzing my art movement then they will probably get something like.. she had a depressing high school life and was most likely bullied, raped and suicidal. Then as she grew older for the first time in her life she felt LOVE from the very vibrant university life of hers…. and some shit like that. Well, to tell you the truth, the more blood and dead bodies I drew, the more hyper my mood was, believe it or not HAHAHA

UNIVERSITY STRESS HAS MADE MY MY STYLE  COLORFUL AHHHHHHH

That’s it my next picture will contain all of the following: blood, rape, human flesh all over the floor, mental expression, and whatever dark element I can think of at the time.
